What is Washable Paper and how is it made?

Washable Paper is made mostly of tree cellulose that is bonded with a polymer to transform it from regular paper to washable paper. The tree cellulose is sourced from FSC-certified forests to ensure it is responsibly sourced to protect our ecosystem. And because trees are a renewable resource, Washable Paper has a lower carbon footprint compared to many other materials used for bags.

The polymer used to transform our tree cellulose is a synthetic latex. This ensures the material stays strong through repeated washings while also being allergen-free. Our Washable Paper is OEKO-TEX Standard 100 Certified, guaranteeing that it is free from harmful levels of more than 100 substances including PVCs and PFAs.
